For basic functionality, Every Word stores your library of audio files along with related metadata that includes library titles, author data, artwork, playback position, completion status, dates when the library item was added and last played. Additionally, some statistics are collected during the app usage, such as listening time, amount of silence skipped, and average playback speed. We regard this information as private. Therefore, this information is never shared with the developer but is stored locally and, where available, synced between your devices with iCloud.
Every Word collects anonymized metadata using Apple's built in metrics system.This system sends data such as session length, crash reports, device type, and locale.
If you choose to subscribe to Every Word Plus, your subscription details will be managed by the App Store and subject to Apple's privacy policy. Every Word does not handle or store your payment information.
Metrics collected with Apple's built in system are used to fix issues within the app. We reserve the right to use collected information for marketing purposes or for making decisions about features to add or improve.
